Professional looking and robust in design, your feet are treated to a secure and snug fit courtesy of three velcro fastenings. Riding made easy. Inside the Pinnacle Maple and there's soft padded collar and non-slip heel to keep the shoe securely in place while the heel loop is a neat finishing touch. Across the upper and the synthetic, microfibre material allows for plenty of breathability to help keep your feet cool as the action heats up.
A feature you won't necessarily notice straight away, but definitely welcome, is the inclusion of a reinforced toe box. These help protect your toes from rocky knocks which are an inevitable of any MTB riding.
Turning attention to the all-important nylon sole and there's enough stiffness to exert your power but without compromising on comfort. A raised tread around the sole encircles the cleat recess while there's the option of adding studs beneath the toes to aid those really muddy days on the trails.
